What Happened: Find Your Eco-Style, Authentic Japanese Onsen Now In SG, My First Mermaid Performance & Mermaid-Approved Art Exhibit @ SAM

Bishan Swimming Complex
Wet & Wow time at Bishan East Thomson Family Day Pool Carnival

I had quite a splash at the Bishan East-Thomson Wet & Wow! Family Day Pool Carnival that happened on 28th May 8am to 1pm, at theBishan Sports Swimming Complex this year. Featuring over 20 novelty water, sports, arts activities and performances, it promised a fantabulous good time for all ages with exciting activities that includes Pool Games and Rides, Sports Games Stations, Nila and Team Singapore Meet & Greet, Swim with the Mermaids, Sports Mural Wall Painting, Humaniticity Arts Booth, Hourly Lucky Draws, Photo Contest and more!

It was the very first time that I got to perform as a mermaid in front of a live crowd with adults and children. Yes, that means no googles, swimming with my tail and lots of breath holding! The most enjoyable part of it was swimming with the children and witnessing how amused they are with swimming with us. Even the adults were having a great time, requesting for lots of photo opportunities!

If you are interested in having mermaids for your events and parties, please feel free to head over to here for more info!

Singapore Art Museum
Odyssey Exhibition

Delving into the deep, Imaginarium: Over the Ocean, Under the Sea – the sixth edition of SAM’s children-focused annual exhibition – invites adventurers of all ages into the watery realms of our Earth as seen through the eyes of contemporary artists.

A whimsical introduction to the many stories and ideas that surround seascapes, Imaginarium: Over the Ocean, Under the Sea presents tactile and interactive works that encourage discovery through exploration and play.

At SAM at 8Q, young people are invited to comb the shores and navigate the deep where they make the acquaintance of mysterious denizens and underwater wonders. SAM hopes that, as protectors of the future, all young visitors will also think about the impact we have on the natural world, and of how, through inventive and wise ideas, we can save our earth and its awe-inspiring oceans.

Exhibition is open til 28 August 2016.

Stylecon Asia 2016
First style & beauty Influencer centric event

StyleHaul partnered with Gushcloud to create STYLECON ASIA 2016, the first style & beauty Influencer centric event that will happen across 4 cities in Southeast Asia!

STYLECON ASIA is designed with beauty influencer in mind, and I was invited to join them and have a fun day talking and sharing great ideas and tips for my daily beauty routine with my favourite beauty gurus.

I had work on the day of the event but I took a few hours off so that I could head down for the Makeup & Fashion Stylestudio Workshop with Beauty Carousel and got to meet YouTuber, Bubzbeauty!

I got to pick up some easy to follow and quick makeup tips using K-Palette products.
One Raffles Place
Find Your Eco-Style

This May, One Raffles Place (ORP) Shopping Mall launched the first ever Great Green Sale to encourage people to shop with a spirit of environmental awareness. With the theme, Find your Eco-style, ORP introduced a range of exciting eco-friendly workshops and exhibitions designed to inspire shoppers to make a stand for the environment. ORP partnered with local artist and tenants to come up with specially curated activities for shoppers. One of the workshop that caught my eye was their T-shirt Scarf Workshop (4,11 & 18 June, 3pm) All shoppers have to do was to spend $280 to qualify for registration and bring along an old T-shirt for the workshop.

And that concludes all that happened for May & the first part of June!
Til the next What Happened post.
